The average youth stays at Timber Ridge for 10 to 12 months. However, camper stays may be longer or shorter than this average.

Substance Abuse counseling services include 12-step programming for Dual Diagnostic youths with addiction problems.

Family and individual therapy are provided, and supplemental Speech Therapy can be contracted as needed.

In addition, Family Counseling sessions are scheduled on a regular basis, including monthly group parent training opportunities and weekly contact with child and family.

Our on campus academic program, the Uwharrie Learning Center, features traditional classroom studies and a hands-on experiential approach which is beneficial to children with Attention Deficit and Conduct Disorder symptoms.
